How to Set Up IPTV on Formuler

Set up MYTVOnline for a Formuler receiver
Formuler receivers include the MYTVOnline viewing environment, so there is usually no reason to install a generic mobile player. Open the version already supplied with the box and update the receiver first. The location of Connection, Content Manager and EPG controls differs slightly between MYTVOnline 2 and MYTVOnline 3.
Use a portal connection only when a portal URL and device registration were supplied. Choose Xtream Codes when the activation message contains a server URL, username and password. Keeping these connection types separate prevents the repeated login and empty-list errors caused by entering valid details in the wrong screen.

MYTVOnline features
After the first import, MYTVOnline can organise favourites, recent channels and programme information. Recording and timeshift require suitable storage and may consume an additional active connection.
Keep the Formuler connection easy to recover
Give each connection a recognisable name and photograph only the non-sensitive settings. Do not clear MYTVOnline application data until the login is safely stored elsewhere. A cache refresh is a better first step when artwork or programme information becomes stale.
When both portal and Xtream details are available, use only the connection method identified for that receiver rather than adding duplicate sources.
Set up IPTV on Formuler in six steps

Update the Formuler receiver
Open Settings, Device Preferences and About, install available system updates and confirm that the date, time zone and network connection are correct.

Launch MYTVOnline
Open the MYTVOnline version supplied with the receiver. MYTVOnline 2 and MYTVOnline 3 use similar connection screens but menu wording can differ.

Choose portal or Xtream login
Select Add Portal when support supplied a portal URL and registered device ID, or select Xtream Codes when you received a server URL, username and password.

Enter the connection details
Give the connection a recognisable name, enter every field exactly and leave optional EPG fields unchanged unless a separate guide source was provided.

Connect and complete synchronisation
Save the connection and wait for MYTVOnline to import channel groups, VOD categories and programme-guide information.

Configure favourites and timeshift
Test a live channel, organise favourites and enable timeshift or recording only when suitable USB storage and the purchased connection allowance are available.

How do I clear MYTVOnline data safely?
First use Refresh inside MYTVOnline. If the connection remains corrupt, open Android application settings, clear cache only and avoid clearing data unless the portal details are backed up.
Why does MYTVOnline reconnect repeatedly?
Verify the selected login type, remove spaces from the portal or server address and test Ethernet. A portal registration cannot be used as an Xtream login.
How do I refresh the Formuler EPG?
Open the MYTVOnline content-manager or settings menu, run an EPG refresh and confirm the receiver date and time before reloading the connection.
